Propane tanks are rented on an annual basis. The tank rental is due
and payable when making application. Rental on tanks are $50.00 yearly plus state
sales tax ($54.88). Each year thereafter you will be billed according to your
application anniversary date. The size of the tank will be determined by the
GDGA. In the event of termination of service, the tank rental for the remaining
months will be prorated and credited to your account.

* A standard tank set charge includes 0-20 feet of pipe, and other related materials
and labor required for a complete and safe installation meeting all current gas
codes. Also a gas check inspection is done on the entire system to insure a safe
operation. A standard tank set is interpreted to mean a tank of various size (up to
1,000 gallons). Size of tank will be determined by the GDGA, and installed the
required distance from structures and property lines to comply with codes. (10' ft.
away from house or building structures, 10' ft. off property boundaries). Also tank
must be placed no further than 100' ft. from driveway so as to allow for winter-time
filling. Tank placement further than 20' ft. will cost $2.00 per foot extra.
The GDGA has the final decision as to tank set location.
All delinquent accounts will be subject to penalties and will be disconnected with a
$50.00 CASH reconnect fee. Any further service after disconnection may be subject to
C.O.D service.
The GDGA provides 24 hour emergency service both for natural and propane
customers. After hours, week-ends, or Holiday service repairs will be charged
$50.00. After hours, week-ends, or Holiday gas deliveries (Will Calls or C.O.D customers)
will be charged $70.00. There's a 150-gallon minimum gas delivery and price will be
at current gas prices.
List of current Holidays are as follows: New Years Day, Martin Luther
King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after
Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. If the Holiday falls on Saturday,
the office will be closed on Friday, if the Holiday falls on Sunday, the office will be
closed on Monday.
A minimum of 200 gallons of propane is required for initial tank
set.
Types of Gas Delivery
services provided by the GDGA
Bulk Delivery - This means we
take the responsibility of keeping you supplied with propane. Regular delivery
routes are ran regularly during heating season, and if your tank is below 50-60%, we top
the tank off and leave a copy of the delivery ticket on the premises.
Will Call - This means you take
the responsibility for not running out of propane. The GDGA will not deliver you any
propane until you call. Please allow 3 working days response time in winter months
or when weather conditions are unfavorable. After hours, week-ends, or Holidays
deliveries will be charged a $70.00 trip charge. A 150 gallon minimum is required on
all Will Call deliveries.
C.O.D - This means cash is
required before delivery of propane. All rental accounts are C.O.D accounts. A
150 gallon minimum is required for delivery. $70.00 trip charge is applied for
week-ends, after hours and Holiday deliveries.
GDGA reserves the right to change delivery status based on pay history or other
circumstances deemed necessary. Customer will be notified of any change.
